Terms & Conditions
Clear expectations for respectful matchmaking, membership payments and safer connections on HIV Parichay Matrimony.
1. About these terms
These Terms govern use of hivparichaymatrimony.com and its matrimonial services, operated by Parichay Matrimony Private Limited, Indore, India. Read them alongside our Privacy Policy and the plan details shown before purchase. If you do not agree, do not register or purchase a service.
2. Eligibility and authorization
Members must be adults aged 18 or above and satisfy the legal requirements applicable to their intended marriage. Do not create an account for a minor. If you create or manage a profile for another adult, obtain that person’s informed authorization and involve them in decisions about profile sharing. A family member’s or NGO’s approval alone is not permission to disclose the individual’s HIV status.
3. Accurate profiles and account security
Provide accurate information about your identity, age, marital status, education and other profile details. Use recent photographs you are authorized to upload. Correct important changes promptly. Do not impersonate another person or create misleading profiles. Keep your password and OTPs private, and contact support if you suspect unauthorized access.
4. What the service provides
The service supports matrimonial introductions through profiles, search, interests and communication features available to your account or plan. Features and contact limits depend on the plan and availability. A membership does not promise a particular number of responses, a successful match or marriage. A profile or verification badge is not a guarantee of identity, suitability or intentions. Assess important information independently.
5. Respectful conduct and prohibited use
Do not harass, threaten, discriminate against, blackmail or exploit another person. Do not solicit money, investments, loans or gifts from members. Do not publish sexual, abusive or unlawful material, advertise unrelated services, scrape profiles, bypass access controls or interfere with the website. Do not use member information to expose someone’s HIV status or contact their employer, insurer, family or NGO without appropriate authorization.
6. HIV confidentiality, photos and consent
Handle health information with particular care. Do not copy, forward, publish or redistribute another person’s photographs, medical information, messages or contact details without their explicit permission. Use the visibility controls actually offered by the service. Buying a plan does not override another member’s choices. Acceptance of these Terms is not blanket consent to disclosure of health information, cross-brand sharing or publicity; any required specific consent must be obtained separately.
7. Payments, plans and renewals
Check the price, duration, included features and contact limits before payment. Use the official payment process and verify unexpected payment instructions with support. Do not send money to a prospective partner or their relatives. Membership fees are separate from money requested by a member. Check the stated renewal terms before purchasing; do not assume automatic renewal is enabled or disabled. Membership is for the account that purchased it and must not be resold or assigned without authorization.
8. Refund and cancellation policy
Membership and renewal fees are non-refundable, except where a refund is required by applicable law. Duplicate or incorrectly charged payments may be reported to support for review. Include your profile ID, payment date, amount and transaction reference. Never send an OTP, UPI PIN, password or CVV. Account deactivation or deletion and eligibility for a refund are separate matters. This policy does not restrict mandatory statutory rights.
9. Meeting and relationship safety
Take a trusted friend or family member to your first meeting. Choose a public place during the day, share the meeting details with someone you trust and arrange your own transport. Avoid meeting alone at a private home, hotel room or isolated location. Do not send money for a marriage promise, treatment, travel, visa, customs fees or an emergency. Preserve suspicious messages and report them. If money has already been sent, contact your bank or payment provider promptly.
10. Reporting and account restrictions
Report suspected false information, harassment, unauthorized disclosure or payment solicitation to support with relevant profile IDs and evidence. Do not include unnecessary health documents or sensitive payment credentials. Accounts or content may be restricted while suspected abuse is investigated, or when necessary for safety or legal obligations. Contact support if you believe a restriction is a mistake. Any retention or deletion of personal data remains subject to our Privacy Policy and applicable law.
11. Content and use of member submissions
You remain responsible for the information you submit and must have permission to use it. The service may process and display submitted content for the disclosed matrimonial features, subject to applicable privacy choices and consent requirements. Permission for matchmaking does not automatically authorize advertising, success-story publication or use outside the disclosed purpose.
12. Availability and third-party services
The website may be interrupted by maintenance, network problems or technical failures. External websites, communication services and payment providers may have their own terms and privacy practices. Review them before use. Third-party availability is outside our direct control; this does not remove any responsibility imposed on us by applicable law.
13. Limits of the service
Marriage decisions belong to the individuals involved. We do not guarantee the accuracy of every member submission or the outcome of an introduction. The service does not provide medical advice; consult a qualified healthcare professional for health questions. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or takes away mandatory consumer, privacy or other legal rights.
14. Changes, governing law and disputes
These Terms are interpreted subject to applicable Indian law. Contact support first to help resolve a concern. Competent courts in Indore may hear disputes where permitted, without preventing you from using a court, regulator, consumer forum or other remedy available under applicable law. Material changes should be accompanied by appropriate notice, and fresh specific consent where required. These Terms do not waive mandatory rights or remedies.
