The opening of the Ayodhya Ram Mandir is a momentous day in history. January 22 is the day the Ram Temple in Ayodhya will be dedicated. All central government offices in India will be closed for a half-day on this day due to the Ram Lalla Pran Pratishtha ritual taking place in Ayodhya. Many may use social media to share their excitement with their loved ones as they prepare to celebrate this occasion.
The Ram Janmabhoomi temple, a Hindu temple devoted to Lord Rama and situated in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, India, is referred to as a "Ram Mandir". For many years, the temple has served as a focal point for discussions on politics and religion in India. With several legal and societal changes, the construction of the temple at the contested location in Ayodhya has been a long-standing issue.
The Supreme Court of India ruled in favor of building a Ram temple at the contentious location in Ayodhya in November 2019. In addition, the government was ordered by the court to set aside a different 5-acre area for the construction of a mosque. Prime Minister Narendra Modi lay the foundation stone for the Ram Mandir's construction in August 2020, following the verdict.

An important development in Indian history, the building of the Ram Mandir reflects religious and cultural beliefs. Once finished, the temple is anticipated to become a significant Hindu pilgrimage site.
